Homeless Women Veterans are UNACCEPTABLE.
The mission of Final Salute Inc. is to provide homeless women Veterans with safe and suitable housing.
It is estimated that there are currently 55,000 homeless women Veterans in the United States on any given day. For the sacrifices they and their families have made, this is an unacceptable state for any of them to be in. Final Salute, Inc. believes in paying women Veterans with the proper respects due to them for the service they have provided to our country. Final Salute also works with the Veteran in establishing her plan towards independence.
Main factors contributing to homelessness:
- Unemployment
- Ineligibility for or lack of Veteran’s benefits
- Legal Trouble
- Military Sexual Trauma
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Disabilities
- Divorce/Separation
- Domestic Violence
- Lack of family or social support network
- Substance Abuse
Final Salute focuses on Three (3) main programs to assist women veterans or servicemembers transitioning to the civilian sector:

The purpose of this event is not only to honor the service and sacrifice women have made to this great nation, but to also support our Sisters-in-Arms who are in transition or have transitioned and may need an image boost. They realize that some women Veterans, especially single mothers, may find the cost of securing an up-to-date professional wardrobe unattainable.
Final Salute Inc. was founded in 2010 by a woman Veteran and cancer survivor who became aware of the large number of homeless women Veterans in the United States. She realized a need for an organization that was designed to meet and understand the unique needs of homeless women Veterans and their children.
With the help of the American people, foundation and corporate supporters, we know our mission is achievable. Why are we doing this? Because it’s the right thing to do.
Please help us help our Nation's Heroes.
