• Lahey Hospital & Medical Center
• Winchester Hospital
Lahey Health is an integrated health care system committed to providing the full continuum of health care services close to where patients live and work. The system is comprised of nationally recognized, award-winning hospitals, physicians, behavioral health services, and post-acute programs including home health services, skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and senior care resources. Lahey Health includes nearly 1,400 locally based physicians throughout Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, along with more than 30 primary care physician practices and multiple outpatient and satellite specialty care facilities.
Our flagship location is Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, a 335-bed academic medical center in Burlington that has been ranked among the state’s best by U.S. News & World Report. A teaching hospital for the Tufts University School of Medicine, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is home to the leading liver transplant program in New England, boasts the only Level II Trauma Center between Boston and Manchester, NH, and offers patients access to clinical trials of new therapies for diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease and cataracts. Lahey clinicians pioneered low-dose computed tomography (CT) screening for early-stage lung cancer, a technique that is now used at hospitals nationwide.
Our community hospitals are consistently recognized for their excellent patient care and outcomes. Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester received a Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) Exemplar Award in recognition of its commitment to caring for and meeting the needs of older adults. Beverly Hospital has been recognized by patients for outstanding orthopedic care and has become the fifth largest hospital in Eastern Massachusetts for total joint replacements. Winchester Hospital’s Ambulatory Surgery Center will soon become the only day surgery site in the state to offer minimally invasive robotic surgery.
We are grateful for our runners who inspire and amaze us. We are thankful for the donors who support them and our mission to provide superior health care, leading to the best possible outcome for every patient. And we are indebted to our lead sponsor, John Hancock, as this program would not be possible without them.
Thank you for supporting Lahey Health!
