Keep Southern California’s local restaurants alive by feeding our healthcare workers, first responders, and others in need!
Due to COVID-19, restaurants throughout Southern California have been hit hard and have shuttered their doors. It is unlikely the So Cal restaurant scene will enjoy the same level of vibrancy pre-COVID.
Hospitals, first responders, and services around the world are being stretched to their limits, putting immense strain on healthcare workers who may go days without rest or a decent meal.
For that reason, we have decided to band together to ensure that our beloved restaurants stay in business while also making sure our frontline healthcare workers are properly nourished.

Our API nonprofits have developed a vast network of great professionals in our community, including restaurant owners and healthcare professionals. We will purchase meals from businesses that support our organizations and communities, and have them safely delivered to healthcare heroes in our network. Depending on the donation policy of the medical facility, we may also donate gift cards.
UPDATE: We will be adding other beneficiaries to this invitiative who would appreciate some meals. A portion of the funds may also go towards nursing homes, police and firefighters, women's and other shelters, and other places who would benefit.
Our goal is $25,000 in total, however we will be pulling funds and making purchases and donations regularly throughout the campaign.

How You Can Help
While we understand that many of us are now facing financial constraints, every gift at every level matters! By donating even a dollar, you can help feed Southern California healthcare workers while ensuring that your favorite So Cal restaurant is one dollar further away from shutting their doors forever.
Additionally, let us know of any restaurants or medical facilities that would benefit from this campaign.
Are Donations Tax Deductible?
Yes. Since this effort is organized by 501(c)(3) non-profits, your donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Also note that under the CARES Act, you’re allowed an $300 above the line deduction!
This is an all-volunteer effort. So you can ensure that every single penny you donate goes to helping your community.
We will add information to the campaign as we connect to restaurants and healthcare offices.
