Dear Family and Friends,
First, I want to say thank you for taking the time to read Kylind’ s story. Whether you're able to donate money or not, I'd like to ask that you please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we are currently facing the most uncertain, frightening, and challenging time that we have ever experienced. To any among you who can and do choose to give whatever amount of money possible, you have our sincere gratitude and infinite appreciation from the depths of our hearts!
As some of you may or may not know Damien has recently made the difficult and courageous decision to enroll Kylind to an all-girls Christian boarding school designed to work with troubled teens that have a desire to transform their lives. We believe this opportunity could change her life and save her future. Those that know Kylind know that she is full of life and full of love. You can see it in her laughter and the way that she is always cracking jokes. She has a bleeding heart for anyone that has less than her and can brighten a room just by walking in it!
We are confident that she has a bright future ahead of her if she stays on the right path. We are in hopes that this step is the one in the right direction and believe this program will help improve her impulsive and sometimes destructive behavior. We have faith that the House of Hope will give her the tools she needs to become successful in the future as we are in a desperate place with no other good options in site.
The House of Hope is a Christian-based comprehensive residential treatment program for hurting teens with the goal of family restoration. The girls in this program cook their own food, clean; do usual academics as well as physical exercise. The daily instruction and all aspects of the school are designed to be reminders of God’s goodness and Power.
Unfortunately, the monthly tuition for the House of Hope is around $3K a month, thus making this decision even harder. It is with a heavy heart that our family is asking for your help in Kylind' s education and future. We cannot thank you enough for helping.
Sincerely,
Damien Ewing
