Nairobi is now declared a 'hot spot' for for COVID-19. For the millions of people living in densely populated and under served slums, like Kibera, this disease will have a rapid and devastating impact. Social distancing is close to impossible due to crowded streets and the absence of household space. There is a lack of access to basic services and health care amidst rising misinformation and fraudulent cures. People are already struggling to afford basics like water and food. In response to this urgent situation, KTC is raising funds to expand its essential services (high quality potable water, clean toilets and showers), install hand washing stations, fabricate hygiene products, and spread an awareness campaign to support its community in battling this disease.
Please support the KTC Coronavirus Awarenes & Prevention Campaign efforts!
