Krystle Campbell was one of the three victims who lost their life during the April 15th, 2013 bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line. Krystle was a close friend to many throughout the Boston area. Krystle’s family and friends enjoy celebrating her life by remembering her infectious energy and enthusiasm, her love of family and friends, and her kind-hearted nature that is displayed toward all.
In the wake of Krystle's loss, the Campbell's worked collaboratively with The Boston Foundation to establish a memorial fund in her name. Since 2013 the donations contributed to the Krystle Campbell Memorial Fund have been dispersed by her family in her honor to a variety of non-profit organizations and community betterment projects in the Greater Boston Area.
In past years, the KCMF has made charitable donations to the Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility in Medford Public schools. CCSR is an organization that has such a positive impact on our youth and one I enjoy and hope to watch grow throughout the years.
I am truly honored to have been chosen to be a part of such a wonderful team and am so proud of all we stand for. Running in memory of such a beautiful person who emodied such love and kindness is what will keep me going when I feel like giving up. Please help us continue to contribute to an organization we believe Krystle would be so proud of.
