Krystle Campbell was one of the three victims who lost their life during the April 15th, 2013 bombings at the Boston Marathon finish line. Krystle was a close friend to many throughout the Boston area. Krystle’s family and friends enjoy celebrating her life by remembering her infectious energy and enthusiasm, her love of family and friends, and her kind-hearted nature that is displayed toward all.
In the wake of Krystle's loss, the Campbell's worked collaboratively with The Boston Foundation to establish a memorial fund in her name. Since 2013 the donations contributed to the Krystle Campbell Memorial Fund have been dispersed by her family in her honor to a variety of non-profit organizations and community betterment projects in the Greater Boston Area.
Again, this year we are continuing to raise money for Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility at Medford Public Schools! We along with the Campbell family feel that CCSR is a phenomenal organization that encourages youth of all ages to make their community a better place in a way they find meaningful. We think Krystle would love this partnership and we hope it will continue for many years to come.
