Be strong. Have courage.
The meaning of our name, "Komera," in Kinyardwanda has always inspired our work, and now so more than ever.
We at Komera are uniting our community with strength and courage as we are faced with the unprecidented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Komera programs support the most vulnerable in our community; women & girls, teen moms, families struggling to make ends meet. When crisis occurs, we know it will hurt those most vulnerable the harderst.
We are proud of the Government of Rwanda in leading the country with smart preventative measures to ensure safety & health of the citizens. While COVID-19 hasn't spread drastically in Rwanda yet, our community is already feeling severe impact.
Komera is working in partnership with the local government to provide food & supplies to the most vulnerable in our community.
Please consider a gift to help sustain Komera programs and allow us to provide support to those who need it most.
We have over 100 families in our Komera community that are food insecure and need our support right now.
