10 years ago, Teddy Raskin, CEO of KOACORE, founded Lights on the Lawn to support a fraterntity brother who suffered a severe spinal cord injury. The community support we received, and funds raised from friends, family, and sponsors allowed us to raise $96,000 and purchase necessary rehabilitation equipment for our friend to come back to school. Our mission has always been to support those around us, and we found a dream partner in The Mary Parrish Center in 2012. Having spent the last 8 years on the MPC's Board of Directors, and Executive Team of Lights on the Lawn, we can confidently share that the proceeds from Lights on the Lawn have life changing effects on the brave residents of the Mary Parrish Center.
In addition to Teddy's involvement, over 50% of KOACORE Team Members have been involved in Lights on the Lawn in some capacity since 2012. As a company deeply rooted in community, philanthrophy, and our relationships, Bobby and Teddy have committed to Lights on the Lawn as a strategic partner by providing all necessary safety equipment for safe live events, fundraising to support the Mary Parrish Center, and making annual separate contributions to the Mary Parrish Center focused on its food pantry and housing amenitities.
