Throughout all the hot dumpster fire current events over the last couple months, I’ve found it really important to stay connected to things that bring me joy (in an effort to avoid being found rocking back and forth in a corner 🥴). For me, finding joy almost always results in anything related to dog rescue. Andrew and I took in our first foster pup, Mosley (now Cooper!), back in May and we were thrilled at the opportunity.
I have volunteered with Second City Canine Rescue since 2014 and we’re opening our first Adoption Center this fall. There is a lot to do to get it built and we could use your help.
King owns my entire soul, and there’s nothing I’d love more than to raise funds for SCCR in his honor. My goal is to raise $2500 to dedicate a kennel in his name so I can smother all the future homeless pups who get stay in it with love, and send a little piece of King with them when they find their forever homes. If you’re able, please consider donating to help turn my “King’s Kennel” vision into a reality! Thank you!
