The Tough Ruck 26.2 is comprised of military and civilians whose purpose is to Ruck in honor of Fallen Service Members, Police, Firefighters, and EMTs. The funds raised support military families in times of need. During this Ruck, we cover 26.2 miles with weighted Rucks that display the names of service members and first responders who have given their lives so that we can live ours.
So, why do I do it? The answer is easy, because I can. I can still walk, I can still Ruck, and I can still live my life. I am more than thankful for those who have given their lives so that I can live mine. Participating in this event is just one thing that I can do to say thank you. Thank you to those who have given their lives and thank you to their families.
If you can, please consider making a donation to help support the work of the Military Friends Foundation.
