Kidz2Leaders provides stability, opportunity and a Christian community for children of inmates to break the cycle of incarceration.
We accomplish this by building long-term, healthy relationships through our 10-year program continuum, beginning with children at age eight and serving them and their families through young adulthood. We believe it is only through this long-term commitment that can we truly end generational incarceration.
The majority of children of inmates served by K2L are living in families at or below the poverty level. Jobs, housing, food, and health are all on the line as each family does their best to persevere through the COVID-19 crisis.
As we approach our summer program season, we are challenged by these uncertain circumstances. Our activities may ultimately look different than they have traditionally, but we know our families need hope more than ever.
This team is ready to do whatever it takes. You can make sure we have the resources needed to serve our community in the upcoming months by #helpingthehelpers through this campaign!
