Each year, the United Nations organizes World Wildlife Day on March 3. This year, the theme is "Big Cats - Predators Under Threat" and they're hoping to raise awareness for big cat species all over the world that facing declining populations and habitat loss.
I have been fundraising for cheetah survival since I was 6 years old and have thus far raised over $20,000.
This is a short-term online fundraiser, specifically designed to coordinate with World Wildlife Day 2018. The money I raise will be used for human-carnivore conflict mitigation efforts in Namibia, the country with the most robust cheetah population left in the world. With each farmer or landowner whose mind gets changed about shooting the carnivore(s) on their land, a new safe space gets created - and with the chance to live without persecution, wildlife populations can get restored and get back up in numbers.
Will you help me protect cheetahs? I want future generation of kids to know these amazing animals too!
