Help Give Vermont Children Their Dignity and a fresh outlook on life through the gift of a new pair of sneakers.
The condition of a child's shoes is one of the most visible signs of poverty, impacting their preparedness to learn, ability to play, and capacity to thrive. Local children wear shoes that can be filthy, too big or too small, or taped to extend their purpose, exposing them to the painful stigma of economic difficulty, all for the lack of what they cannot afford.
Make A Donation of $50 per child to gift a brand new pair of sneakers and a pair of socks, and Help Change Lives for Children in Vermont.
-Or- Gift a new pair or like-new pair of sneakers. Dropoff locations include: The Stratton Foundation Office and Wohler Realty Group.
We will be measuring children's feet in February 2020 and sneakers will be distributed to 600+ children across southern Vermont in early May 2020. We are proud to partner with ShoesThatFit and Bombas socks!
Our Mission is to address the challenges of poverty that stand between a child in-need and the opportunity to be healthy, safe, and educated. The goal of the Stratton Foundation is to end the cycle of generational poverty by helping at-risk children become successful adults. 501C3 #04-3343551
