Kelan's Story

Kelan was a healthy 10-year old boy who had just finished his first season of baseball. It was an early July morning when Kelan suffered his first seizure. After many more seizures and a few weeks later, he was diagnosed with cavernous angioma.

Over the last year, Kelan has declined cognitively. He has days when he falls while walking. He takes over 2300 mg of medicine a day to mask his seizures. He is at risk for a big bleed at any time, as well as stroke.

Please join us to celebrate Kelan’s struggles and his immense strength and courage!
