Hello my name is Tate Hamilton and I am Kicking For Colt! My father is Remy Hamilton, he was a All American Kicker at the University of Michigan. He played with Jeff Delverne, who also kicked at U of M. Much like I am following in my fathers footsteps in Kicking so has Jeff’s son Drew Delverne. Please read below, Drew’s story and my reason behind Kicking For Colt!
Drew DelVerne, said, ”On November 26th of 2018, my life changed forever. I lost my 10 year old brother, Colt, to DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma). It was the most painful day of my life. I am now out to make a change to make sure nobody else has to suffer from this awful disease. Please help me in this fight to cure pediatric brain cancer. Set up your own page or donate towards my Kick It for Colt campaign! All funds raised will be donated to The ChadTough Foundation whose mission is to inspire and fund game-changing research to discover effective treatments for pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).”
Please join Drew and I in our efforts to fund research, in order to find a cure for DIPG. Thank you! The Chad Tough Foundation was created to honor, Chad Carr’s memory and all children diagnosed with DIPG. Chad Carr was diagnosed with DIPG at the age of 4. He was Loyd Carr’s grandson. My father played under coach Carr and raising money for the Chad Tough foundation will not only honor the memory of Colt Delverne but Chad Carr as well! Football is Family and it takes a whole team to win! And I am calling on everyone to step up and fight for The Team, The Team, The Team! With your donation we can help the Chad Tough team fight and win this battle against DIPG so that no other child can be taken by DIPG again! Please join my team and our fight! Thank you!
