My husband , Kevin , was diagnosed in Dec 2014 with AML- Acute Myloid Leukemia & had a very grave version of it / was chemo resistant ; meaning chemo itself would not give him a chance at a cure. He would have to have a bone marrow transplant- which he did in May 2015, after chemo got him into temporary remission prior . Despite bone marrow transplant , it was never fully functioning for him & he relapsed in Dec 2016- taking him to
the hospital & final 3.5 months were trying to get him into remission again ; but it failed & he lost the battle in March 2017. His Dr all along said his positive spirit & fight & physical strength allowed him to endure & have more time than his original prognosis . His 2 children & I miss him
every day , but we rejoice he is in heaven with Jesus & cancer free/ no longer suffering . And we press on & live & honor his memory any opportunity we get !
