I am running my personal fundraiser for Paws for a Cause this year in honor of my dog Kenny. Kenny underwent surgery this past year for a spindle cell growth under his chin. Any type of surgery is expensive, but I was fortunate enough to have been able to cover the cost and to work with GentleCare Hospital in Land O Lakes, Florida. GentleCare was vested in getting my boy well and they worked with me financially, talked me through the process, (which was really scary because I lost Sadie to a mass cell tumor) and kept me informed on Kenny's condition and progress. I am pleased to say that Kenny is living his best life because I was able to afford the care he needed to get well and because of the expertise of the Gentlecare team in taking care of him!
That doesn't happen for some families who love their pet just as much as I do. I can't imagine the pain and guilt of having to euthanize your best friend because you can't pay for it or having to let a spindle-cell bundle like Kenny's grow simply because you do not have the resources to get it removed.
Paws for a Cause supports Frankie’s Friends, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to helping pets in need of lifesaving emergency and specialty veterinary care their families can’t afford.
I am asking that you make a gift to my campaign to help family pets in honor of Kenny. Your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $75,000 so you have a chance to double your impact! If you give $50.00, it becomes $100.00! Additionally, I will match the first $250.00 given to my page with a personal match. SO PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY!! :)
Friends, this charity, and the mission, mean the world to me. Please make a gift and help me reach my $1,000 goal . The campaign runs through the end of August.
Thank you in advance for your caring, support and selflessness. If you could hear the families sob who learn they are getting financial help for their beloved pet you would understand why this job means the world to me. #caringchangeseverything #givingmakesithappen
