Kennedy has been receiving physical therapy services for three years now, due to her underlying brain malforamations. Her therapists work hard to help her advance, and to find things that allow her to explore and experience her world, as any other child would. This past summer, we began using an adaptive tricycle in therapy and it has been an amazing experience. It helps her with balance, posture, inititiation, and leg strength and rotation.
People are always asking us what they can get Kennedy for holidays and birthdays, as it's easy to be at a loss for a child who explores her world differently. We have decided that the perfect gift would be a contribution towards something that she can use (when we finally have the nice weather back) to play and take in her world alongside her new baby sister and family.
To our extremely supportive family, thank you for your contribution to help Kennedy continue to grow and learn <3>
