Ms. Veteran America is looked at like a pageant to most people, but when we take off our camo's and throw on our gowns its all for appearances and bright lights. We want the attention, of course. We want it for the women who cant get it. For the women struggling to make ends meet. The women struggling to clothe their children. The ones who have to choose to skip a meal in order for their little ones to eat. We sparkle now so they can shine in the end.
Donating to this cause will put a roof over homeless women's heads, food in their bellies and ensures that they will be able to take care of their families.
Stepping out of the active duty limelight by choice (and sometimes not) can be financially, emotionally and mentally stressful. Going from having the government dictate your every move and penny to have them drop you on the side of the road can set you up for failure if you are not financially prepared. Hopefully you have family to have your back. If not...I guess you'll be out of luck.
Please find it in your heart to donate to these woman. Did you know that just $25 can feed and house a homeless woman for a day? Even if you can't do $25, anything helps!
Thank you so much!
