Dear Friends and Family,
As many of you know I LOVE baseball! I've been lucky enough to have spent more than half of my life doing something that I love. When I was 3, I started playing baseball. We were always told by the coaches about the equipment we needed to get and I was always fortunate enough to go shopping at a sporting goods store and get the equipment that I needed. I now understand that I owe my parents a big thank you for always getting me equipment that I needed and wanted. I had no idea that there are other kids that can't afford to get equipment. Therefore, they can't play baseball. I could never imagine this because baseball brings me so much joy and excitement. I could not imagine my life without it. For my Mitzvah Project I would love for kids to have the same experience and pleasure that baseball has brought to me. So I have decided to raise money and collect new and used equipment for them.
PIFB stands for Pitch In For Baseball. PIFB is an organization that will work with the MLB and many more baseball associations around the world. These baseball oranizations will help kids who can't afford to get baseball equipment. The money I raise will go to the PIFB organization. They will find less fortunate kids around the world to give the donated equipment and buy baseball equipment with the money I raise.
I will be starting a baseball gear drive. This event will take place from Febuary 2, 2019 to March 30, 2019. You can drop the gear off at The Hitting Zone at 31285 Via Colinas, Westlake Village, CA. My goal is to raise $1,000 and get at least 30 donations to my baseball gear drive. Please help however you can! All donations are appreciated!
