I am raising funds to honor the memory of Josh Hopwood. Josh was a wonderful son to his Mom and Dad, Denise and Mark, and great big brother to Sean. Josh was stricken by Leukemia and left us too young. Mark and I have been long time backpacking partners since Middle School growing up in Livermore CA. I am so happy to be using one of my bucket list hikes for a great cause, helping The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society defeat this terrible disease.
I am a double hip replacement recipient looking to be the first of my kind to hike from Crater Lake to Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood along the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon (I don't know if that's actually true). Mark will be kicking off the first four days with me starting on July 13th, 2018. I will terminate 230 miles later at the Timberline Lodge on August 5th.
I hope you will follow along on Facebook and my website at samuelemigrant.com. I hope you are able to help us reach our fundraising goal in Josh's memory!
