Keep Dance Alive in the 405
There is no denying that COVID-19 turned the dance world upside down. RACE the Space suddenly went from a sanctuary to a risk to our dancers' safety. Thanks to the resilience of our community, we have risen to the challenge, but it is simply not enough. As we navigate the world of reopening our studio in the safest way possible, we ask that you lend your support so that we can continue to provide access to free training for our Academy students and maintain the space we and so many others call home.
As a 501(c)3 organization, RACE Dance Collective operates differently than most for-profit studios. Although we remain committed to providing open community classes, these profits help us cover the cost of classes for our Academy students as well as contributing to our studio rent. But our space has been empty since March, and the revenue we rely on to provide this service is non-existent.
We are asking our community to please help us weather this storm. Please enable us to remain a safe-haven for our students and provide community, education, and artistic expression to future generations. Barring unforeseen changes to COVID cases, we plan on opening our doors again on September 8th with the promise of safety and security for all. With your support, we can continue servicing the Academy students and maintain our studio. Please help us "Keep Dance Alive in the 405."
