Keep a Child Alive has served 150,000 children, adolescents and adults affected by HIV and AIDS in 2019. KCA collaborates closely with local partners in some of the countries hardest hit by the HIV epidemic - Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, South Africa, and India to address the most pressing needs faced by vulnerable children, young people and their families affected by HIV and AIDS. It provides comprehensive HIV care and treatment, counseling and testing, access to antiretroviral (ARVs), and psychosocial services; and use the power of sports and life skills development to empower young people to become champions to address HIV amongst their peers.
KCA officially launched Team KCA, an exciting project using sports to raise funds for our programs. With this initiative, KCA expects to not only promote sport as a tool to celebrate health and wellness, but also to raise funds. Team KCA welcomes people of all fitness levels who have an interest in running and are willing to participate in sports events while raising awareness about the good work that KCA does.
Keep a Child Alive is proud to participate in the 2020 TCS New York City Marathon!
