WEAR RED for awareness.
GIVE for the mothers, sisters, daughters and friends that you can’t bear to live without.
On Friday, February 7, Kean University will join the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease by participating in the national Wear Red Day.
Mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts — everyday women are dying at the rate of almost one per minute. Show your support for the fight against heart disease in women by wearing red. It’s an easy, powerful way to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and stroke in both men and women. We invite the campus community to participate by wearing red.
Wear Red Day is a chance for us to arm ourselves with knowledge about this devastating disease and to raise funds that will help the American Heart Association advance its research. You can make a donation online or in person at the Wear Red Day table in the Commuter Resource Center within the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons on February 7, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or in the Center for Leadership and Service, located in Miron Student Center, Room 219. All proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association.
