Thank you, friends! We were able to raise a significant amount of money for our pet food bank during a year that saw challenges for so many loving pet owners and their companion animals. With your help, we were able to provide 51, 904 lbs of pet food and cat litter.
Thank you so much for your dedication to keeping families together during difficult times. Your gift ensured that countless pets were able to stay with the owners that love them - keeping them out of shelters and rescues.
Help us keep families and pets together.
At the Kalamazoo Humane Society, our staff has been able to make pet food and kitty litter available during special hours to those in need through our essential Emergency Pet Food Bank. As businesses considered “non-essential” have had to shut down operations and send workers home – often without pay – the need has never been greater.
A gift of any size will help us continue to help animals in Kalamazoo and surrounding communities who are in need due to the economic hardships many pet owners are now facing.
Contributions will be used to purchase much-needed food and supplies that will allow pets to remain with their families, off the streets and out of area shelters or rescues. As many have said, “What would we do without our pets at this time?” Your continued support will not only help the immediate needs of the emergency pet food bank, but will also help us hit the ground running when we are allowed to more fully open for spay/neuter surgeries.
