HELLLOOOO ALL! I'm so excited to be running for Team IA again this year!
I’m participating in this year’s marathon to raise funds to support Imerman Angels efforts in providing one-on-one support for cancer fighters across the globe. While I am not a cancer fighter, my family has lost several members to it including both of my grandparents, Leroy & Donna, who passed away back in 2010. The past few years I've had a front row seat to witness the confidence and courage Imerman Angels gives people fighting cancer. And this courage comes from a very inspiring principal: you are not alone.
Imerman Angels pairs anyone seeking cancer support with a "Mentor Angel." This Mentor Angel is a cancer survivor or caregiver of the same age, of the same gender, and, most importantly, who has faced the same type of cancer. This is someone who can say “I've been where you are, I've fought your fight, and together we will beat cancer because I've already done it and so can you." That person who knows exactly what you are going through and who is living proof of light at the end of the tunnel is nothing short of empowering.
You too can make a difference through donations in support of my efforts with Team Imerman Angels. Your support will ensure that cancer fighters can continue to receive FREE one-on-one support. No one's parent, friend, or family member should EVER have to face cancer alone.
Donations to Imerman Angels are impactful and immediate - every $350 raised will help make it possible for a cancer fighter to be connected to a cancer survivor or a caregiver to a caregiver.
Thank you so very much!
