I can't believe that it has been 19 years since Jim died. I recently presented on the topic of how people who experience the death of a parent or sibling in childhood, regrieve throughout their lives. Asking Zelda and Lucy questions to help me with my training, made me realize things about their journey I did not even know. All the times they missed their dad when they did not even tell me. I am sure sometimes they wanted to protect me and not make me sad. One of the great things about Kate's Club is that kids can share with other kids and volunteers without that worry of "making mom or dad sad."
We have been busier than ever this year with a 30% increase in membership. We have had to add an extra half day program per month to accomodate demand. We can not do it without your support as all our programs are offered at no-cost to our families.
Please consider donating in honor of Jim Pease to help children like his.
