Hi! I am Kanon Mori and I am currently a junior at South Torrance High School.
I believe strongly in the value of helping other people and the community, so on March 18, 2018, I have set a double goal.
First, I will be running 26.2 miles as I participate in the LA Marathon. This is my first time running a marathon, and it will be a grueling yet gratifying challenge for me as I fight my way to the finish line.
I have another important goal and that is to raise money to support the South Bay Children’s Health Center, a non-profit organization that provides dental and mental health services to children from low-income families in the South Bay. Their family-focused, friendly environment has reached out to thousands of children in need over the years and provided positive impact not only on their patients and families but to the whole community.
My aim is to run the marathon strong so I can raise as much money possible for the organization.
Your donation to my fundraiser will be greatly appreciated and will help SBCHC and their patients thrive as they continue to progress forwards.
A donation in any amount is welcome and appreciated.
Here is what your donations could do:
$10.00 could help provide toothbrushes and toothpaste for five children.
$15.00 could help provide dental screenings for five children to detect dental decay.
$25.00 could help pay for one dental visit.
$50.00 could help pay for counseling services in a local school classroom.
Thank you so much and please share my page with your friends!
