It's time for K Craig's 5th Annual Miraclefeet Fundraiser and 10th Birthday! He was born in 2009 with clubfoot. His treatment started at 4 days old with serial castings, followed by an achilles tendon release at 6 months, major surgery at 12 months, and he was able to stop castings at 14 months. He then wore orthotics and braces until he was 4.5 years old. When his treatment was completed, we thought we should donate his used brace to a child in need at a local clinic, but they weren't allowed to distribute used braces. This led us to Miraclefeet. He was so excited the day we mailed his used orthotics and brace to Miraclefeet! Miraclefeet increases access to proper treatment for children born with clubfoot in developing countries. He has always had a generous heart. Five years ago, he came up with the idea to raise money, instead of gifts, for his birthday. He raised enough money to provide full treatment for one child that first year, 4 kids the second year, six kids the third year, and 10 kids last year! And now, for his 10th birthday, he wishes to do the same fundraiser he has done for the last 4 years. He is so excited to be a part of something that helps kids! He is able to walk, run, play sports, and play with friends because he had the opportunity for treatment. If you are able to help him with his cause to provide treatment to those children who are still living with untreated clubfoot, he would be so excited with any amount! He has chosen to send any donations to Miraclefeet partnering clinics in Guatemala. Guatemala's poverty rate is 59% with 542 new clubfoot cases a year.(They are not allowed to provide assistance in the United States because of insurance laws). Thank you for any assistance you can contribute! $20= supplies clubfoot brace for one child, $50= provides brace and casting materials for one child, $100= provides brace, casting materials, and transportation for a family, $250= provides complete treatment for one child.
