What if cancer had a finish line? This April, I will complete the 2020 Virgin Money London Marathon, and every step will be one closer to this lofty dream: to eradicate a disease that has touched so many of my friends and family.
Completing my 26.2-mile journey through the streets of London will not only signal the conclusion of my eighth marathon to date, but will also grant me my fifth our of six stars in my journey to complete one of the toughest and most humbling marathon series in existence: The Abbot World Majors.
This isn't about bragging rights. This is about much more than mere miles. Your donation, no matter how small, will support the innovative research of the American Institue for Cancer Research. If you, your family member, or your loved ones have been touched by this disease, I dedicate this journey to you. Let's lace up those sneakers and get down to business
