Justice Rising Photo Exhibition

Event Details
Justice Rising Photo Exhibition

PS Kitchen and Justice Rising International warmly invites you to attend our photo exhibition in NY. The evening will include speakers, an overview of our programs, and a photo-exploration of the ongoing conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo and other war-torn regions, including Iraq and Syria.

Supporters at the event will have an opportunity to give to the ongoing work of transforming war zones through education. We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools to not only combat extremist ideology, but to effect lasting change in communities affected by war.

Today, Justice Rising operates ten schools serving over 1,800 students. Over the next five years, we plan to build 40 more to reach nearly 6,000 at-risk kids.

The Co-Founders of Justice Rising, Edison and Cassandra Lee, started the organization with the belief that education, especially in war zones, has the power to transform communities and even to disrupt cycles of conflict. Through education and community-based programs, Justice Rising can address the critical needs of children and families during and after prolonged periods of conflict and also combat extremist ideology.
