While travelling in Thailand with my mother nearly 15 years ago, I witnessed young girls engaged in a very open industry of child sex exploitation. This experience inspired me to find a path toward raising awareness and to take action against human trafficking.
"Awareness starts with a story, but acting on our awareness, newfound empathy and understanding is where lasting community change really happens."
Over a decade after Thailand, I found my way into the world of human trafficking by working for a brief but very impactful time at a safe house for trafficked women. Through this experience, I had the honor to meet and engage with Rose Mukhar of Justice at Last. Ever since then, it has been an incredible honor to join the organization on it's journey to forming a life changing and impactful mission to help trafficked persons gain legal representation in the justice system.
We invite you to join us in this very important cause and to lift people out of their place of bondage into a brighter world where they can touch the face of freedom and delight in what we have the right to enjoy every day. Thank you so much for your generosity.
