It’s time for the 2018 Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI)! Get ready for a week filled with meaningful conversations about limits in our community.
LBDI is our advocacy campaign against limits in our community’s health.
Our inaugural 2017 campaign was a roaring success. This year, with the entire League participating, we are aiming to raise $30,000. The funds raised from this campaign will go to support the Junior League of Phoenix’s focus of Building a Healthy Arizona. The dollars we raise funds our limit-defying programs, including ROCKETS, Kids in the Kitchen, United Way Ending Hunger in the Classroom, and Kids Cook with Heart at Halle Heart Children’s Museum.
For one week, October 1 – October 5, our members will stand united in defiance of these limits. By limiting themselves to the same little black dress for five consecutive days, our members will illustrate the limits our sisters, our mothers, and our children face in Arizona and how the Junior League of Phoenix’s programs improve the fabric of our community. Let’s make health limits unfashionable. Because together, our potential is limitless.
