As many of you know, I am on the executive board of a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization called Junior Council. Founded in 1988, Junior Council is comprised of young professionals in the Chicago area, dedicated to supporting the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago's patient care mission of providing high quality healthcare to every child who needs it, regardless of their family's ability to pay. The Junior Council specifically raises funds for the Special Infectious Diseases Clinic, which includes the Pediatric & Adolescent HIV/AIDS Program.
On January 27, 2018, the Junior Council will host its 30th annual Snowball event, held at The Field Museum. Snowball, Chicago's premier black tie event for young professionals, draws a crowd of 2,000 ticket buyers, who enjoy a night of fun, food and dancing.
