The Martin Richard Foundation, is in partnership with TD Garden, the Boston Bruins Foundation and Dave McGillivray Sports Enterprises (DMSE), for the first annual MR8K to be held on Labor Day - Monday, September 3, 2018. Josh has been a first responder since 18 years old when he joined our local Fire and EMS department. We both have the priviledge of teaching and training future first responders through our business organization. We understand the importance of support and family in all aspects of the First Responder life style. This can be seen in the every day responsibilities with simply checking in with one another as well as in the unfortunate event of loss of life, whether being a provider or victims of a tragic event.
Martin Richard was the youngest victim of the Boston Marathon attack. This aspect of family and support is needed just as much for these victims and their families, something that first responders can provided during the immediate event and continuing through care and the aftermath.
Josh and I are excited to be running and fundraising together to show our extended family support in this first-time event. Please consider donating to a great cause!
