Jordan's Mission to Peru
Surgical diseases have been overlooked in the international effort to improve global heath . About 11% of diseases around the world require surgery for cure, and unfortunately an estimated 2 billion people around the world lack access to an operating room, yet very few resources are allocated to this end.
This May I will be traveling to Peru for a surgical mission with International Surgical Health Initiative (ISHI)! We will be providing surgical care to an underserved area. Throughout previous missions, hundreds of individuals have received surgical treatment for conditions/diseases that would have otherwise gone untreated.
This is an amazing opportunity, but unfortunately participating in this mission isn't free! If you have a few dollars to spare, please consider donating. Your contribution will make an impact and every little bit helps.
Thank you in advance for your support! Below I've included a link to the ISHI website.
ISHI MISSION: The International Surgical Health Initiative is a humanitarian non-profit organization that provides free surgical care to underserved communities, worldwide, regardless of race, religion, politics, geography or financial considerations.
