Jojo runs for those who can no longer walk. She runs to raise awareness of Adult Polyglucosan Body Disease - APBD - a disease that can eventually rob patients of the use of their legs. APBD is a degenerative neurological disease affecting adults over age 35, which is often misdiagnosed as Multiple Sclerosis. Many sufferers go from doctor to doctor for 5 to 10 years searching for an accurate diagnosis.
The APBD Research Foundation is working tirelessly to change this reality. Focused on promoting awareness and early diagnosis and funding research at top universities around the world, the Foundation is leading the effort to advance APBD research to develop treatments and a cure.
Join us in supporting Jojo to provide hope and help to people suffering from APBD. Last year we raised $51,000 at the NYC Marathon. Help us raise $75,000 this year!
