Career Bound NV Closes the Gap between Skilled Workers and Open Jobs
Career Bound NV provides access to tools and resources that allow young people to identify their interests, aptitudes and skills, aligning them with potential career pathways and connecting them to employers in these areas. Through guided activities, students create and engage in an education and/or training plan, working with local employers in high-demand industries to learn workplace skills and expectations.
Career Bound NV Connects Talent to Employers
Through Career Bound NV work-based learning and apprenticeship activities, employers will interact with students early, providing guidance and exposure to a variety of career options and developing strong relationships with young people. This will become the foundation of a sustainable pipeline of young, talented potential employees.
Work-Based Learning for school aged youth provides resources and opportunities to develop career interest and understanding through activities such as tours, events, job shadowing, internships and youth apprenticeships.
Apprenticeship Support provides life skill and career coaching for apprentices, starting at age 16, to ensure they are professionally prepared and able to succeed in a work environment while also supporting businesses in developing programs that attract, produce and retain a highly skilled workforce.
