Historic Latta Plantation needs your help! The kitchen garden fence and numerous pasture gates need replacing due to extensive age. Over the past year they have been mended many times. However, because of their poor condition, our determined large heirloom animal breeds have been breaking out of gates and through the fence, to dine on the historic garden. Our wonderful garden and animals help with efforts to educate visitors about the life on a circa 1800 plantation. Please donate to help us both protect and preserve our animals and the garden.
Educational programs and the rare and endangered breeds of historic livestock at Latta are funded by your donations and public grants. Without you, we would not be able to produce numerous events and programs throughout the year, or raise these special breeds of animals. From monetary to in-kind donations, Historic Latta Plantation appreciates your gifts, both large and small! The Historic Latta Plantation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, and donations are fully tax deductible. With your help we can reach our goal of $5000.00 and make sure our animals are safe and the garden is preserved!
We accept donations through Go Fund Me. Donations may also be made by check and are gratefully accepted. Please make checks out to the Historic Latta Plantation and mail to: 5225 Sample Road, Huntersville, NC 28078.
