The John Paul Jr. Huntington's Disease Foundation is a 501c3 dedicated to raising much needed research dollars to put an end to this horrific, debiltating terminal disease. Through past events, as a result of the love and generosity of John's friends and fans, research dollars have been raised and donated to UCLA. These dollars are crucial to aid UCLA’s Department of Neurology in their efforts to end Huntington’s disease and the related Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
Our foundation recently held a fundraiser in Essex, MA which resulted in $16,000 donated to UCLA research (from the many generous racers, friends and fans who attended this event).
YOU CAN HELP NOW by donating to this GO FUND ME account. All proceeds go towards future HD fundraising events or directly to Dr. Susan Perlman's research at UCLA.
Under Dr. Susan Perlman’s care, John has been able to slow down the progression of this disease, but it continues to slowly and relentlessly take over his body. Those of you who know John, know he is fighter. Although he struggles with so many things that so many of us take granted, he never complains, he calmly says it is just “part of life”. He is filled with so much gratitude for all the positive things in his life and does not give up. He truly wants to help all those afflicted with these neurological diseases and at the same time, fulfill his personal goal of finding a cure so his own children, and/or their future children, will never have to endure this horrendous disease.
You too can be a part of Team JLP and help John and so many others afflicted with these cruel neurological diseases with your donations.
