This is our 3rd Autism Walk and our 2nd with the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio. It is important to our family to support this local organization that helps others in our community with autism. Without the help we received when Joey was diagnosed, he would not be where he is at today.
We want to continue the supprt, awareness, and acceptance of those with autism.
The AUTISM WALK is the premier autism awareness event in Northwest Ohio and the primary fundraiser for the Autism Society of Northwest Ohio. Participants walk the inside perimeter of the Franklin Park Mall, approximately 1 mile (5K option). The walk features family-friendly activities including face painting and hand print art; free bungee bounces; access to local autism organizations through our Resource area; and so much more!
EVERY DOLLAR raised at the event stays in our community to help us provide support , education, and advocacy to individuals, families, and professionals affected by autism across the lifespan and the entire autism spectrum. Our service area includes: Lucas, Defiance, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Sandusky, Seneca, Wiliams, and Wood.
Day of registration and family-friendly activities begin at 9:00 am. The walk will begin promptly at 10:00 am.
