Created in fond memory of Camp Roger's eccentric neighbor "Indian Joe" Cizauskas, Joe's Big Race (JBR) has engaged and entertained our camp community for thirteen years. Each year, teams of four have participated in this wild, adventure-style race that raises vital sponsorship funding for campers in need of financial assistance.
On April 13, 2019 -- Joe's Big Race 2019: The Last Stand will be going out with a bang! We've decided to give JBR one more run to make way for a new top-secret fundraiser for 2020. If Joe's Big Race has ever been on your bucket list, now's your chance to register your team and join in the wacky fun!
Here's the details: your team of four will participate in a day of crazy camp games and adventure race challenges that require a combination of physical ability, mental skill and plain old luck. Race events are geared towards adults, and teams can be registered in the men, women and co-ed divisions. Each team must raise a minimum of $1,000 by April 11, 2019 to participate in the race. Special race day perks and race advantages will be given to the top fundraising team! Our first goal for 2019 was to raise $40,000 but the awesome teams blew that away. Our new goal is $45,000!
