For this year's Hockey Fights Cancer Game vs. West on December 13th, I will be playing in memory of Dick Antle who died of advanced hormone refractory prostate cancer in 2009. I did not have the privilege of knowing Mr. Antle, but his wife, Joan, is a very special person in my family's life. Joan is like a second grandmother to me, she is one of the kindest people I have ever met and is full of life and passion and always willing to led a hand. Her husband, Dick, like Joan, was an avid outdoor enthusiast. They own a beautiful cottage on Glen Lake and Mr. Antle loved to spend time in Northern Michigan hiking, biking, fishing and having campfires. I hope that you will help me by supporting this charity event. Most everyone I know has been impacted by cancer in some way, and we'd love to see you at the game to partake in such an amazing event cheering on Central!
