I'm in my second year as a catcher for the Michigan Baseball team. I'm originally from Illinois, but made the decision to commit to Michigan after my older brother had committed here as well.. I tagged along on some of his visits, and realized it fit every box that I wanted in a school. Ann Arbor is just a magical place, and U of M is an academic and athletic powerhouse close enough to where my parents and family could watch me play.
Ever since I’ve been on campus it’s been great and the team has been amazing.
So far, my greatest achievement while being here has definitely been getting to the college World Series .. but my FAVORITE moment as a Michigan player was the regional championship game. When we won that everyone was just so pumped and hopeful going into UCLA because we knew we could beat them like we did earlier in the year. And then two of our guys got drafted and it was such a magical day in such an amazing town with perfect weather.
Everyone sees the things on the field but the best part of being a Michigan athlete are the experiences and memories made.. those times in the airports and the hotels and the locker rooms is really where the bonds that you form for a lifetime are.
Deciding to participate in Dancing with the ChadTough Stars was an easy decision to make. The ChadTough Foundation is an amazing organization that is making a huge impact for pediatric brain cancer research. Only 4% of all cancer research dollars are allocated to pediatric cancer research. ChadTough is hoping to change that.. and I'm grateful for the opportunity to help by taking on this dancing challenge.
Please show your support for this great cause, by contributing to this fundraising page.. and stay tuned for my dancing debut on February 5th, 2020!
