Three years ago, on October 3rd, 2016, our lives were forever changed. That was the day that our sweet peanut, Jocelyn, was viciously mauled during a dog attack. The physical trauma she endured was simply awful, but her recovery and her optimistic attitude in the following days, weeks and months showed how amazing, resilient and STRONG she truly is.
When the one year anniversary of the dog attack was approaching, Jocelyn once again showed her strength and compassion by deciding to turn this awful event into an opportunity for her to help others in need. That year Jocelyn decided to collect toys/games for kids who were at Children's Hospital, just like Jocelyn was one year prior. And just like that, Jocelyn Strong Day was born!
Each year for Jocelyn Strong Day, Jocelyn selects a charity or organization she wants to collect donations for, and this year Jocelyn is really, really excited to collect donations and raise money for Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank! She is looking forward to the opportunity to help people in the community and she hopes that everyone will help her reach her lofty goal of $1,000!
Thank you in advance for any donations and for your support! And as always, even if you are unable to donate, please consider doing something to help others on October 3rd, and wish them a happy Jocelyn Strong Day!!
