On Halloween of this year, I will be starting my 39th year at Eden II. It has been one of the most challenging years, but also one of the most rewarding. This year has made me so proud to be at Eden II. When COVID hit NY hard in March, April and May, our staff were amazing..brave, loyal and most of all caring. They showed up every day to help support our participants, despite the risks that were there. Our staff continues to work hard and deal with all the curve balls thrown their way. They pivoted quickly to remote learning when that was the only optioin. Today, we are working hard to get as many of our kids in for face to face instruction as we can. As you can imagine, it has been a challenging year financially, with increased costs to deal with COVID and loss of revenues for some programs.
While my running days are over, I plan on riding 100 miles on the Peleton this month. I hope you will consider sponsoring my ride and supporting Eden II at the same time. I know many of you have already generously supported Eden II and I thank you all so much. You can support by making a small donation here on my page...or even better, sign up for the run your self. Thanks again to all my friends and family who have supported us over all these years.
