My annual campaign, "David's Run" in loving memory of my brother, has raised more than $125,000 for OHEL’s children and families. I’ve been doing David’s Run for the past 8 years and run over 275 miles around the world!
This year, I will make my miles count by participating in the Jerusalem Marathon to raise funds for OHEL Children's Home & Family Services, an organization close to my heart. It’s mission is to protect and strengthen individuals and families of all abilities, by meeting their diverse social service needs through programs of award-winning excellence.
Please help me support OHEL at the Jerusalem Marathon by raising $10,000. I would like to dedicate my run in memory of the Jewish souls that perished in Pittsburgh. The funds we raise will be allocated to OHEL’s Miriam Center for Trauma, Bereavement and Crisis Response. Following the aftermath of the Pittsburgh shooting, OHEL dispatched a team to provide on-the-ground crises intervention, counseling, support groups, and trainings for community members, professionals, clergy, educators and mental health professionals. OHEL’s trauma team has provided safety, support, and strength in many other communities as well, including NY, NJ, Texas, Ohio, California, England & Florida. There are no government funds to cover OHEL’s Crisis Intervention team.
Your donation means a lot to me and the individuals and families that OHEL serves! Your support will help OHEL’s trauma unit provide support to those in Pittsburgh and beyond! Please help support my Jerusalem Marathon campaign by clicking donate.
