Its not always easy to share our personal struggles with others. Most of our challenges we try to keep to ourselves and handle on our own. Sometimes circumstances force us to move outside of our comfort zone. This has happened for my husband Troy and I. Jenna Baylie Lowery is our 16 year old daughter. This fundraiser is set up to help her into (and complete) a program at House of Hope in Kansas City Missouri. For several years, (6 to be exact), we have had our fair share of issues with Jenna. In the beginning we mostly thought of this as "normal" teenage behavior. Over time our normal has become her (and our) nightmare. Jenna has suffered from depression, and loneliness for a long time. These feelings have now changed my daughter into someone with dangerous risk taking behaviors. She is hurt and lost. She has become disconnected from family and friends. Over the last few months things have escalated to the point where we can no longer provide for her safety. Troy and I are working hard to place her in the HOH. This facility specializes in helping young girls. We truly believe this is where God is preparing every avenue for our daughter to be restored. Because we cannot do this on our own we have set up this account to ask anyone for any financial help they may be willing to give. We also need prayers! Please pray for Jenna, pray that God will touch her heart and show her that she is a beautiful, wonderfully made young lady. Pray for HOH to guide her and love her when we as parents can't be there with her, physically.
