This summer I have the opportunity to work in Kenya with Youthful Faces, a small humanitarian organization, to provide improved housing for children, and I am seeking your support. My friend, Tara Matthews, introduced me to this charity. For the past fifteen years, Youthful Faces has given educational, health, and food support to orphaned children either infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. (For more information on this organization, please see below or visit: https://www.youthfulfaces.org/.)
I will be behind my lens learning the children’s stories and documenting the entire trip. I will also assist with the construction of new homes. The money you choose to donate provides building materials, aid, as well as my own plane ticket. I am so very grateful for any financial support and I appreciate your help in advance. A donation of any amount makes a difference. We can all create positive change when we encourage each other through kindness. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!
For 15 years, Youthful Faces has been helping orphaned children both infected and affected by HIV/AIDS secure food, health care, and educational support to help improve their lives and possibilities for a brighter future.
As we continue to provide this support, we are also looking to expand our care for these children and their families with the provision of improved housing. For too many of the children we serve, substandard housing has a big impact on their physical and mental wellbeing. Every child deserves a healthy home - a place they feel safe and happy. You can help us build a better tomorrow, brick by brick.
